Welcome To the Mountain Dulcimer Song Page
When reading mountain dulcimer tab, all four strings are usually shown; but in my tab, only the first string is shown (*usually played with a noter) *see page on About Mountain Dulcimers. So, for these songs play the first string by pressing with your finger or with a noter. The line is the first string, the numbers are the frets.. 0 means to pluck the string open.. While playing these songs, strum all four strings, this will give it a drone sound; That authentic old timey sound of the mountain dulcimer. Most of all, have fun!
